blank spaces - removal of

Hi I'm using a list of uk postcodes to generate maps. The problem is that the postcodes are stored as "XXXX 123" in MySQl and the map requires that the blank space be removed

ie, XXXX123

Anyone know a quick and easy on the fly way of doing this?
