When I try $dateout = strtotime('+2 hours', $datein);
$datefinished = strftime("%m/%d/%Y %H:%M:%S" ,$dateout);
print $datefinished; my time is showing up as:
12/31/1969 18:33:23
However when I change the hours to say +4 hours it is reflected in the time. so +4 hours would equal
12/31/1969 20:33:23
Ive been looking at the time functions, should I turn the date into a unix timestamp, add 7200 seconds, then format it with mktime?
ive been trying to do this but havent had any success, all the examples ive found are way more complicated then what im trying to accomplish.
