phpMyAdmin on Windows server

I instaleld MySQL and PHPMYADMIN on a widnows server, phpMyAdmin connects to the mysql server finely, but when I try to set the auth to "http" in the config file for phpMyAdmin, it doesnt work, it looks in the NT Users instead of the MySQL users... how do I solve this problem, is phpMyAdmin even compatiable with Windows server? Thanks

Did you run the winmysqladmin.exe first?

lol yes, the mysql server itself works perfectly 🙂 its the isapi problem with php headers, anyone know how to get past that with still a cgi installation?

OK - sorry 😕 I wasn't more helpful. It seems that you and I are at the same point - however other things have come up and I have had to put this project on hold for now...

Nonetheless - it would seem (to me) that PHPMyAdmin is Windows compatible because there are numerous instructions for Windows/Servers in the Documentation.html file; stating tweaks that need to be done to operate PHPMyAdmin on an IIS box.
