Adding to cart <-> Refresh F5

Hi,
I have a little web shop here, and I'm adding items to the cart with a <form>. The problem is that if I add an time into the cart and then press Refresh or F5, the system adds another item into the cart and another...

Is there any way to disable this?

Before adding then item, check if it exists!

I doubt you really could, pressing f5 is likie hitting submit again.

Perhaps you can check if it was already added?

Huh, when I hit F5 it just increases the quantity... and I do check if the item exists...

maybe put a tick box there which you need to tick before clicking submit which will automatically untick once u have submitted once

just an idea cant say ive even done it before
