Amazing shape

Hi guys,
I do not know if this is the right place to post this but I did
not know what to do.
I am trying to draw the shape below using the HTML text field
as each square is a text field even the shapes that look together
like a permid they are (suppose to be text fields rotated 45 degrees).

I am using PHP and MySQL.
I know this is something crazy but this is what I have to do

Any help will be appreciated.

Okay,
you see the shape /\ , they are not a / \ slashes they are text boxes
rotated 45 degrees (suppose that).
is it possible to rotate the text boxes in any language.

the number of text boxes are going to be dynamic according to
the user input, for example the user put number 10
then we will have 10 horizental text boxes rotated 45 degrees
then 9 on the top of them then 8 etc..
all totated 45 degrees
and after that the user will have to insert values inside
these rotated text boxes.

In my experience tutors don't set assignments that aren't possible.

Are you meant to use text boxes, text, graphics?

Have you read the manual?

Its not a class assignment.
Did I say that! may the guys thought that but its not

The final output of the program is a Table for engineers.

How it can be done - using what? Can you tell me please.

you will see a table there my table suppose to look like
this one but the dimond shapes on the top that has
+ , - signs has to be text boxes.

I'd look at using GD to produce the graphic. Can't help you with the code tho'

I know how to use GD
but what about the text boxes

I wouldn't bother, I'd just build up the graphic. You're only displaying it

i've never heard of being able to "rotate" form elements.
