I have had two customers report similar errors within two days and it's really stumped me
They both seem to be related to imap_open()
They both have the IMAP extensions loaded correctly and the ports are open on the firewall for pop3 and imap4.
When the imap_open function gets executed PHP seems to segfault (well it produces a "document contains no data" which is usually indicative of a segfault).
The versions of php are 4.2.3 and 4.3.2 on linux and apache 1.3.x
One of them only fails on pop3 and the other fails on both imap and pop3.
I haven't come across this problem before and I've got a lot of clients using this software perfectly well before now.
Any ideas?
