Splitting up string

Hey all i need to be pointed in the right direction so that i can go off and play, ive got a string strored in a db containing a url to a file, now i want to be able to make a list of all the file names without the url what function do i need to break it up?

Hi,
I think you can find usefull strrpos() function:

You can find the position of last "/" or "\" char. Then substring from there to the end of string.
