Date Select

Hi All,

I have set up a site which I would like to select users based on the birthday. I have captured users birthday (yyyy-mm-dd) in a date field. What I am having problems with is selecting users where their birthday date (excluding year) is = or ten days less then today. I have managed to get it to compare the whole date, but what I need to do is just compare todays date day and month only.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

try

select * from myTable where (datefield between date_sub(now(), INTERVAL 10 DAY and now()

That will only get the dates that fall within the last ten days for this year. What Dill wants to do is get that same ten day range but for ALL years.

You need to convert the date to MM-DD format and then do the comparisons.
