Writing a .txt file with PHP

Hi all, Im writing a . txt file with PHP, but I want to insert a Line Break (I am not sure if you call that a Line Break, but is like when you press Enter and you start writing in the line below) in the .txt. I have try using /n, but it seems not to work. Thank you in Advance for your answer.

Point that slash the other way --- "\n"

For Windoze instead of Unix, you might need "\r\n" (M$ does everything a lil' non-standard...)

For vocabulary's sake, "\n" is a "newline". <BR> in HTML is a "line break", and the M$ construct is a "carriage return/newline", I guess....
