Clearing the contents of a file.

This is probably really simple and I'm overlooking it. I can't seem to find a function that will clear a file... if I read then write to it, it adds the new content to the existing content. Maybe its just cause I'm not awake yet, hah. Any ideas?

If you open a file with "w", or "w+", it will reset it.
