Why can't I pass 3 variables in a URL!?

I know this isn't PHP, but I am sure someone here can help me with this:

In the following URL, I can't send ALL 3 variables -- I can send ANY 2, but not all 3....

echo '<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0;URL=page.php?var1='.$var1.'&var2='.$var2.'&var3='.$var3.'">';

I can send ANY two of the three variables, but when I add all three it sends none of them 😛

try changing the &s to &amp; s. the browser will be able to figure it out.

try wrapping each of the vars in urlencode()

The only one that seems to make a difference of the suggests given is the serialize.

HOWEVER, when it prints the value in the URL, it is doing this:

(assume the value should be variable=1)

variable=s:1:

Any ideas?

When you said put 'amp' on the end instead of just '&', that changed the variable name....

could you give us an example of the content of the variables please.

$var1 = 1
$var2 = Canada
$var3 = living room

Is this what you meant by "content"??

There is 1 number variable and two strings.

I can pass any two... and I recently used the same code on ANOTHER page and it seemed to work... so I have no idea why it won't work here... I guess my only other option is to post the entire page.... I'll look at doing that if no one has any other suggestions.

What he had in mind was "&amp;", i.e. the representation for the ampersand.

An example would be:

echo '<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0; URL=page.php?var1=' . rawurlencode($var1) . '&amp;amp;var2=' . rawurlencode($var2) . '&amp;amp;var3=' . rawurlencode($var3) . '">';
