erroneous ! chars in my email body

When I email a message.....erroneous ! characters appear throughout the body of the html message. The email is sent through the function mail(). It is really wierd and is really ticking me off! Anyone know of a solution.

You're only sending ASCII?

Once the form is processed and I recieve the email, I have about 4 '!' characters throughout the html email. Thanks in advanced for any info.

I'm about to loose my mind. Did I mention the is my first attempt at php! 😉

I'm not sure what is your problem.

This is what I suggest:
1. Test with a non-html email system.
2. Test with html, but only output to page.
3. Test again with your html email.

The idea would be to see where the problem lies, and then correct it.
