2. sourceforge.
3. freshmeat
4. zend

My questions are

1. based on your experience, in which case you are going to which php source for sample codes helps?

2. other php sample codes source you can recommend?

alot depends on whether you need a big hunk of code or just a snippet.

I would add to your list
PHPClasses.org
WeberDev
* Codewalkers

oh, and ofcourse PHPBuilder.

And then there are the favourite javascript sites, because sometimes you need that too. And then, if all else fails there's Google 🙂
