Help Pricing a Project....

Hey guys,

At the end of each semester my University, as mandated by our Provost, requires that each student fill out an evaluation form on their instructor(s). After all forms have been filled out they are feed through a machine and then walked back to the appropriate instructor. The eval process is currently in paper form. So, if an instructor wanted a graphical representation of the data he or she would be forced to manually enter each category and reponse into an Excel spreadsheet.

For my Sr. Project I developed a web based tool that allows students to fill out an electronic form and submit it to a DB. I also created an instructor module so professors can login, view charted eval data, and/or export the info to Excel. The teachers were extremely excited during my presentation.

How much would one charge for developing a web application of such nature?

I'd go with how you felt, base it around how much time you spent.

I know nothing about jobs of this sort, I'd really just go with how you feel. Pay what you think is fair, basically would you pay this much for that kind of work if you couldn't do it yourself?
