Mixing code and image maps

Ok, sorry this is not really a PHP question, but this seems to be the best forum I frequent to answer a question like this:

Is there any way to mix an image map and a pop-up window? I have an image map, but I want the links that people click on to pop up in a tiny popup window. Any ideas?

Just create your image map, and in each href link add an onclick attribute which does a Javascript pop-up and returns false (to stop the normal HTML link)
