Longest time at work in one stretch

Geez I'm knackered. I got to work yesterday morning at 9am as usual. By 11am I was pulling my hair out cos our exchange server had gone tits-up, and here I am, still at work. I haven't gone home yet and so have been at work for the last 28 hrs and I'm planning on staying another 4 or 5 (server status depending).

So, I was wondering, what is the longest time (in hours) that you have been at work for>

I'm still studying, but if you're considering PHP hacking runs, it would be somewhere over 18 hours.

back in 99 worked for a startup in new york and was on the job from 7 am on friday until 1 pm on sunday. didn't leave the office had to have a client project finished.

Dunno about all in one stretch, but I have done 96 hours in a week once - Oh what I did to try and get money when I was at uni......

In 99 - 2k the entire IT department started work 8am 12-31 and worked until 9pm 1-2 because we had to test run every app and every piece of computerized machinery in the shop and we didn't know how to do half of that crap so we had to figure it out.

About 6 months ago, we were making some major changes to our manifesting system over-night. We were all under the impression that they would be quick, so we did our regular hours, expecting a pretty long day. So I came in at 7:00 AM, knowing I probably wouldn't leave until midnight or so. Well, after all of the problems were sorted out, and all of the changes were succesful, I went out to lunch with my boss......at 2:30PM the next day, chalking that up to a 31 1/2 hour day. Needless to say, I took the rest of the day off.....

well, depends on how you define "at work"

When I was in college, I worked on a project for around 70 hours straight one time.

Pulled a 10 workday, drove home, walked in the door and started working again until 7 the next morning, drove to work, came home and did the same. Two days, no sleep. Maybe I can make it three in a row if I do it again tonight.

Everything seem's to 'echo' after the second day of no sleep {there seem's to be a 10sec delay before I hear what my boss is actually screaming at me}. This is what it must feel like to be a M$ server... 😃

Sounds like my current week. "Cram 5 days work in 3 days". My side work is now actually on the side, and my aparment's a mess. Gotta love the holidays 🙁

whoa.... been a while since I've been here.... how is everybody?

anyway... my longest day was 14 hours... a few days before the site went live the search and registration areas still weren't working proerly!
