I had this problems, right know i'm making a search engine for a file in my local server i'm using PHP,MYSQL, & Apache.
When i tried to open the file from the IE 6.0 it had an error opening a .ppt file and .pdf.
The error msg is :
This file could not be found. try one or more of the following :
Check the spelling of the name of the document.
Try a different file name ( C:..\filenmae[1]..)
But i dont get any error when opening .doc and .xls, im using MS office 2000. could anybody help me ?
