Mail and My Server

I am running PHP 4.3.4 on a Windows 2003 server. Well I have set it up right because php pages work and what not but what I can't do is get any mail forms to work right.

The code is right because they work on other servers just not this one. I was wondering what config to my PHP install I have to do to make my forms work.

I think it might have to do with the SMTP on the Server 2003 but I am hoping its change a PHP config.

Here is the form I am using. It is integrated with Flash but like I said it works fine on my webhost but not my companies web server.

If your also runnign ur mail server, might want to check for Mail Relay permissions and also, if ur form doesnt use globals, then you ahve to turn register_globals on in the php.ini... btw I am also tryign to get my server to work, what emails erver are u using? id like to chat with you on the setup of ur server... 🙂

I am not running a mail server on that server. I just installed SMTP and the Pop 3 services that come with 2003, do I need another mail server?

Setting up Server 2003 to run PHP wasn't hard at all I am just not familiar with the implemention of PHP. I will turn on the globals to see if it does anything.

If I get this working I will move the PHP to our Exchange 2003 server and see if I can get it working there, because again on that one we have everything up and running but we can't get the damn SMTP to work with any of our forms.

well the smtp and pop3 "services" are acvtually the mail server part of IIS.

I downloaded an e-mail PHP form with error checking this is what I get: "sendmail_from" not set in php.ini

What is that?

well it means that in ur php.ini it is not allowing forms to send email... it should be on by default but some admins turn it off for security issues... anyways... do you have any kind of chat clients(ie:aim,icq,msn) cuz I would really like to chat about your setup of your server, becasue my server is very disorganized and I would like to correct that maybe you can give me a few hints :0
