Omg Help !!!

HELP!!!

I JUST GOT THE PROGRAM MAKER

Dev-C++

and im making a program that when u type in your name, it will say "i know you" or if you type in a name it doesnt no it will say
"i dont talk to strangers" i no its a newb question but this is the newbie chat

anyways... everything WILL** work but it keeps saying

"parse error line 2 '10'

and i no what that meens but..i cant fix it theres no spelling or grammer mistakes or Program languige mistakes!!!!

there now it should work except it wont! it says parse error, i moved '10' to line two(it was at line one) and it didnt make a dif!
iv tried indenting and everything!and it wont work so i was wondering if theres a prob with the languige or if i need to do sumthing else

i no this may be the wrong forum but i need help reeaall BAD!!

This has absolutely nothing to do with PHP....

it doesnt even look like C++..... what language exactly are you coding in?? Basic?

Anyways, the error is that it doesn't like the 10,20,30.. etc... take them out and see what happens

i thought dev-c++ was only for c++...? and that code does not look like c++ cout, cin etc...

Oh man...those were the days....making calculator games in Physics and Calc class. I spent the whole second half of my senior year on this one game.

Am I gonna turn this thread into one about calculator games? I hope so....

ok ok ok now that iv removed the numbers it says that its a syntax error i no
that meens basic spelling mistake or a computer default, but, i cant see the problem
its on line 1, the very first thing. AND on my C++ program i got
like...a bunch of choices weather i wanna do console application or windows aplication or blanc and i chose consol application so i was just wondering what i shoutld do...

that doesnt look like c++ code, all of it is something like BASIC, QBASIC or VB except for the first couple of line which has the include and the int main which is alot like c++, so anyways.. what language are u trying to program? If your trying to do c++, letme stop you no cuz that isnt c++ at all 🙂 hope this helps 🙂
because in C++ u dont have regular "functions" like PRINT, you use cout << "blah" << endl; so its definitely not c++ it MAY be Visual C++ which is not supported by Dev C++ so youd have to get Visual Studio.net for that.

the coding im using goes all the way back to the 80's in timex computers
i just thought dev-C++
should still work because theres only 1 error if there were more then wouldnt it display them? if this isnt the languige then why is it all workin out except one thing? just wondering

but yeah.. it goes all the way back to timex and microcomputers.
