connection to access database

Hi, i am really a newbie (this is my second day with php).

I need to connect to an access database.

i have searched on this site, on google but i have not founded any solution.

can you please post me the connection line(s), the database is on a remote web space so (with ASP) i use the server mappath, or can you give me a url of a site that describe this procedure ?

thank you but i just visited these links days ago and do not solve my problem.

I know how to create a script that connect my php script to a database access on my local machine, but i need to run a script that connect my database access on a remote address.

My database is on a ftp space on a server located in another country, i do not want to test the script on my local machine.

and i don't know how to do this.
