Hello,
First, my apologies if this has been discussed before. Directions to a prior solution would be much appreciated.
I am working on a web site with a basic but functional log in script. That is it was functional on a machine running IIS6. Our clients have warented us moving to IIS5 and since tehn we have not been able to get things to work.
It appears that two files are being created when a user logs in, one with the session variabels and one that is blank. Any future attempts to query the session data (ie on each page to make sure that someone is loged in) is done on the blank file nad so it looks as if there is no one loged in and so the user is bouncd back to the log in page straight away.
Has anybody else encountered anything like this? Any and all advice or suggestions would be much appreciated as it will make me look really good in front of my boss!
