Header with mailto : how to do without opening a new window

Hi there,

I'm hidding all email adress on my web site in order to stop the spam robot. To do this i use the base64 encode and decode function. And when i decode the email i try to use header("Location: mailto:[e-mail]"); but this open a new window with email as url and then it open outlook.
How can i do to do this without opening a new window ?
Can i do it with php or something other ?
