about loops

Hi, I've used PHP for some time now, but only for small yet usable stuff.

I'm currently using a loop to display a bunch of info, but I want to separate the info being displayed.
For example, how would I make a loop that after 2 loops prints "new section" and then goes on with the next 2 loops, after which it prints "new section", etc

I would be glad if anyone could give me instructions on how to do so.

Not usable exactly in this form, but should give you an idea? 😉

I probably should've explained that better. % is the modulo(us?) operator and returns the remainder of a division operation. Therefore if the remainder of $x/2 is zero, you've got an even number....

Also, I didn't increment $x before terminating the loop :eek:

didn't even see the modulous part.
the if part was all I needed to have my brain braking away from what it had been thinking about for the last couple of hours...
i was totally convinced that I lacked skill and that I had to learn some new stuff, and so I never really thought about using what i already know

oh well, what i did was simply use an if with a counter that gets ++'ed in the loop, and when the counter reaches my wanted value it prints "new section" and sets the counter to 0
