Like many of you, I use MySQL-Front as my DBMS of choice for working with MySQL. And it's pretty good program.
But I run into some quirks with it now & then, the lastest one being its refusal to rename fields when I want it to. Even after I close the MySQL monitor, stop Apache, and just plain stop everything, it will continue to refuse to do the rename on a column, giving me an obfuscated error message that only a true computer geek-speaker could think up.
But sometimes if I wait about 10 minutes, crank up the program again, then voila! It works. Well, this is really computer "arts" and not science, as I've been saying for a long time. 😉
Has anybody has this same issue with MySQL-Front. And if there is a better DBMS out there, I'm all ears here.
