How do you reach bandwidth limit?

I am building a medium site - 5 databases and a few scripts - news, banner system, poll, forum...

No visitors yet because it's being built, and it has today exceeded it's bandwidth limit.??!!

How does it happen and how do you spare bandwidth?

You're testing it which means that you're loading the pages which means you're using bandwidth. If you are reaching your bandwidth limit in testing I would guess you're using an awful lot of large images

Yes, moving bulk resources back and forth would do it for you, especially if the bandwidth limits were pretty low to begin with (and most such limits count upload traffic as well as download). It's more plausible than, e.g., a trojan using your bandwidth to send out spam 🙂

my bandwidth is exceeded at 17 MB!

The other site, on the same host, has 36 MB bandwidth at the moment - no problems...
