my gd worked on w2k server - but doesn't on linux?

This is my first go round on linux server - so am extremely lacking..

I have some code that has been working great on Win2k server ... but now is messing up on linux server. - the error messages are below.

(BTW - rpm shows gd-2.0.15-1 to be the gd version installed... so that must not be the problem.)

Does anyone have any ideas? I am assuming its a linux thing.

Was your copy of php built against that version of GD?

This I am unsure of the answer since the techs at the server/isp facility installed it (redhat) themselves to help me get started.

I am assuming that the answer is affirmative since rpm command shows gd-2.0.15-1 to be the gd version installed.

However, this problem in combination with a few others has motivated me to go ahead and install win2k on the server and run with that. I know what I am doing there. I have too many customers that I am hosting to spend any more time in making my program (edit your own sites) work on linux as smoothly as it was on win2k.
