SQL Question

I am looking for a way to select data and only display one of the duplicat entrys.

Example:

Data1
Data1
Data1
Data2
Data2
Data3
Data4

I would like to display like this on my page.

Data1
Data2
Data3
Data4

Displaying one of the cells but not all of them.
Any help is very much appreciated.
