arrangement of files..

i m now using mySql php4 and apache.
my questions are:
can i put my PHP files outside the 'htdocs' folder? i 've tried to do it but cant succeed as i was doing with asp + IIS with just 'share' the folder.
should i put SQL files into the folder same with PHP files? or just they must located in 'mysql' folder?
the last question is, i will burn all my work into the CD after finish the work, so any suggestions that i should consider while i m now in pregress? (i m afriad would get trouble while burning into cd.. 😛

I assume you mean you have Apache, Mysql & PHP4 installed on a Windows computer?

Anyways, since I think I know what you mean 😉 ...

You have to modify your httpd.conf file in your apache directory to tell apache it can serve files in directories other than the default. You may have to configure PHP to work inthis config file as well.

You can't just move MySQL files into any other folder either. Your sql files should stay put as your MySQL server looks for them in the default directory.
