We have a website that needs a small search box to search only the website. I have looked for search functions but have not found anything to search. Is there a way to search in PHP or does it need to be javascript etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

There's no built-in search engine. Either you build your own search script or use something like mnoGosearch
Are there any examples of search scripts available? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Is your content in a MySql database? You could use MySQL's LIKE
