Hi,
I am writing a script which accesses a file on a remote site. This file is a gif image. The gif image is updated every 20 minutes, but has a 4-5 minute delay. I have no trouble making the link work, but for those 4-5 minutes of delay time causes me trouble. LordShryku was helping me, but I came across a problem that his help caused me to find. Sometimes if the gif is not posted yet, the gif link will redirect you to a page saying you typed the address wrong and give you alternatives. Or sometimes the gif will redirect you to a different gif. Either way, it seems that when I do an is_file or something it will always see that a file exists. That said, when the image I want is not yet posted, I get the box with the red X in it showing up on my page using the img src="http://...." There must be a way to check for this? No? Thanks so much.
