Hello,

i`m generating a file.php with php

SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 99 is not allowed to access ../Conn/conn.php owned by uid 578 in /home/www/....../file.php

the file have an include("../Conn/conn.php")

if i will upload the file with a ftp it is working

so .. what should i do ?

Can we see some code to see why the file isnt being created. More than likely can be easily changed.

Hi,

I think there are two possible solutions.

• The first is to write a small script which ftps file.php to the server. That way, file.php will be owned by the ftp user and not by apache. PHP allows ftp manipulation.
• The second is to try this. Make a dir thru ftp. Create file.php inside that dir. Then copy all contents of file.php into a variable and run eval command on this variable. This would require you not to include the file.

I would suggest the first solution because we faced an identical problem and the solution worked fine.

we found the solution

in fact a file create with php can't read some other file not written by php in safe mode
so we get the uid of a php generated file (logs for example) and after we compare to the other files uploaded which have to have the same uid...if not the same....read file, put data in a var, unlink file a recreate the file....
