htaccess/htpasswd question

hi all,

I have multiple users in my htaccess file and would like to make it so that I know when a user has logged in. So, I need some kind of simple txt log of informtation of the users logging in.

I have searched google, and this site , and cannot find anything relevant.

If someone can please advise or suggest a different solution to what I need.

What operating system? In Windows, it's usually under your Apache/logs folder, on nix, it's usually in your logs/httpd/ folder

no its not windows, Its linux. I havent made the server myself its been bought on a monthly basis off a hosting company.

Ahh....well, you should check with them to see if it's a shared log or if you have your own. More than likely, you have your own, and they'll be able to point you to it.
