I obtain the following error

I am connecting to the remote database server, in this case is called sadminvr.
Normally I am root@vaio2k i mean root@THE_CLIENT_COMPUTER_NAME,
(and I have permission as user=´root´ from the PC "vaio2k" in order to enter the server
sadminvr) but occasionally it presents/displays the error that you can see above.
Note: IP addresses of my Intranet are assigned automatically.

Question: there is some special reason so that my computer identifies itself by its IP address instead of its name "vaio2k"
when I try to connect the Mysql server?
It is very difficult to me, to tell the server to create permissions for root@192.x.x.x and all possible automatic IP addresses of my Intranet
Note 2: when permission in the server "sadminvr" for the computer "vaio2k" had been not established i get this error message:
Access denied for user: 'root@vaio2k (Using password: YES) in file.php line xx... etc
my platform is WAMP win2k, apache 1.3, mysql 3.23.47, php 4.1.1
