with the help of all you great people who helped me along the way, i finally setup a working e-commerce site.

The final steps include PayPal transactions.
If a customer is taken to PayPal's site to checkout, PayPal redirects the customer back to the site, whether or not the transaction succeeded.
Since the site keeps track of customers using sessions, will the session remain alive when the customer returns?
Not that it's absolutely nescessary since the customer already checked out and all relevant data was recorded before the transaction, but i'm curious...
