I was wondering if some of you advanced PHP programmers would help me make about the simplest script on earth, with a MySQL database?

Allright, the situation is the following:

I really need an easy content manager, I got a great theme which I really love for my web site and I want to keep that. I only want to make one page that I can go into some sort of administration area, log in and edit title for the website and content. Here's what I mean (on newbie language):

[ Include database connection ]
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>$title</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
$content
</BODY>
</HTML>

Of course that is not the theme 😉

Please help me out in this or send me an URL to an easy understandable tutorial for Mr. Noobster.

Yes, I want to load the data from a database and insert it on specified pages, being able to edit content from another page with administration interface (I'd take care of security stuff there).

well what databases do u have to use??

do u have mYSQL on the server or webspace??

if so

look on google for a tutorial for PHP MYSQL database tutorial

or something along that lines

basically

u connect to database

you query the data base (u make a list of wut to bring back sorta)

you execute the query

then you can show the result 🙂
