I have 8 sites that all share the same info. Therefore, I have created one site that calls the correct info for the visitor based on the URL they are accessing. Here are four of them that are just about completed:
www.bestfundraisers.org
www.fundraisinglinks.org
www.candlefundraising.org
www.fundraisingopportunities.com
All four of them access the same index.php, but based on the URL display different layouts and information. (Rather than pass variables, I used the URL itself as the variable.)
Search engines score web pages based on the content (among other things). Whan a search engine crawls the site, do the search engines see the actual PHP code or do they see it as it is displayed in the browser?
If they see the actual PHP code and not the final page,
1. How do they do so?
2. Most of the pages on the site are pieced together from various files that get included based on what the visitor wants to see. What can I do to make them more search engine friendly?
