[Resolved] HTML Problem (Limiting Ticks)

I'm working on a music website where musicians will be able to declare what styles of music their band plays.

I have a list of lot of different musical styles with checkboxes alongside each style.

It's basically a standard HTML form, but I don't want jokers to come on and tick everything, so... does anyone know how I can limit the number of possible ticks on the form to 3????

I realise that I can put in a PHP script that checks how many ticks have been done then says "Sorry Mister, you checked more than 3 boxes". But I really don't want to go down that road. I'm hoping that have it so that the HTML form literally will not let you tick more than 3 boxes.
