RAndom Imagem Calling a...

I wanna a randomimage... and for i call it i wanna a ".jpg" file,
Like it http://www.danasoft.com/ranimage.jpg

So i did it, i upload the file "image.php"

with the code...

so i cant call it in a "forum...." i must call it by a .jpg file...

Anyone can help me? how can i do?

Sorry, I just realised that your main issue is that you need the script to have a .jpg extension, yet still be parsed by PHP.

I think that you need to tell PHP to parse .jpg files in the httpd.conf file. Although this is probably pretty nasty.

I don't know, but maybe you could put a special case in the httpd.conf like ".rand.jpg" so that any files endidng with .rand.jpg will be parsed by PHP, but .jpg won't.

i changed it in image.php and know what i must to do? im calling www.intervolution.com.br/superavatar/ranimage.jpg and it sai that dont exist :mad:

Okay then. If you are on a Linux server try placing this inside a file named .htaccess

According to this it only seems to work on Linux

<Files ranimage.jpg>
ForceType application/x-httpd-php
</Files>

Note that you may need to replace x-httpd-php with x-httpd-php3 or x-httpd-php4.

If you can not get it to work beg your host to allow it. Otherwise I cannot help you. Can anyone else?
