Apache problem or something else?

Okay, I don't know if this should even be under 'Install' but it might actually have to do with installation. Anyway, I've been running an apache server off XP for awhile and suddenly it stops working. The service is started, but I can't access it through localhost or 127.0.0.1. This can get annoying. If I restart apache, everything will run for about 10 seconds...maybe, and then it will hang, and if you reload, it says unavailable. Has anyone else had this problem that can help? or is my ISP capping my bandwidth or something?

well, the address 127.0.0.1 is called the "loopback" address, so called since it's the one your NIC uses to test itself. So that has nowt to do with your ISP.

Do you have the Internect Connection Firewall turned on? Do you have any other firewalls installed?

Once I had the internet connection firewall turned off and it was working fine. Then I uninstalled Apache for a few months. Then I reinstalled it and noticed I could customize the firewall on XP, and set it so it works as a webserver. And that worked fine as well. As for any other firewalls, or something resembling one, I would say my router, which was taken care of by setting up my DMZ host. Unless there is something else I need to change on my router which I didn't before, it must be something else.
