type casting

Hi!

I use php on win2000.

I try to cast an int as this:

echo int($t_tday);

but I get the error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: int() in E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\tev2\hot1.php on line 51

Can anyone help me out?
