Simple Simple patern match...

Hi all, I really like php and i enjoy figuring stuff out on my own however parsing text seems to be a bit to cryptic to me at my current level. Here is what im trying to do:

Givin this variable:

$address = "3900 Erie St, Racine, WI 53402";

How can I turn the above $address into:

$address ="3900 Erie St";

Sure it seems simple enough, patern match and yank out everything before the first comma. Well thats the hard part

Just do an explode() on the comma. What you want will be the first portion of the array.

$address = "3900 Erie St, Racine, WI 53402"; 
$split = explode(",",$address);
$yourVar = $split[0]
