Just started learning php for 1month + .
I would like to know what kind of stuff i should know or where is a good place to read about calendar stuff. Dont need to have GUI or image. Just the working of the calendar or the concept of creating calendar.
This is because i would like to do this:
For the admin(me) i would be able to select all the date that are public holidays and save the information. How to do this and how to save it. Can also edit it in case the selected public holiday is wrong.
The user will enters the date e.g in this format d/m/y 4/3/03 at the text box name claim_date. When they submit, the popUp window will be close and the process will be done behind before it is close.
The process is to compare the date entered with the date in the calendar. If it is a public holiday, then do something, if it is a sat or sunday, do something. if normal day, do something.
Help would be appreciated.
