FTP Functions

I am trying to use the ftp functions, but when I try using any of,
such as ftp_connect(), ftp_site(), and ftp_quit, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ftp_quit() 
in /home/mySite/public_html/workingon/FTP.php on line 23

Is there something that I can change or do to make this work.
Oh, I am using PHP 4.1.2

check the results of running phpinfo(). You should have an FTP section if its been enabled (or in the compiled command, look for somethign referencing FTP). It sounds like your install of PHP doesn't have FTP enabled.
