[Resolved] trouble with simple regex

Hello, i am having trouble creating a simple regular expression. I want it to check a string for any characters other than alphanumeric. here is what i have:

preg_match('[^{0-9A-Za-z]',$string)}

Can i get a few corrections as this doesnt work and i'm getting confused 🙂

You might want to try this:

preg_match('/[^{0-9A-Za-z]+/',$string)}
