Urgent help needed!!

Hi there

Another big problem with variables. The situation is as follows.

I am running a script in a file called calendar.php. From this file functions in functions.php is called. (functions.php is required )

Problem is that I need to pass the variables in the calendar.php URL to the function in functions.php. How do I do that?

For my website I also need a script that will upload PDF files (letters) and then present the end-users of the site with a page with a list of these letters. When you click on the link it should load the PDF file.

Does anyone know of such a script?

Read up on variable scope. When you include/require a file, the variables in the file become local to the current scope.

function a(){
  include("file.php");
}

file.php
---------
$foo = 0;

$foo becomes local to function a

Thanx for the help, but in this case the logic of the app will not allow this approach.

I did however change the script to fit my design and now pass the variable as an argument.
