displaying images using DOCUMENT_ROOT

Hello,

is it possible to display image using the DOCUMENT_ROOT instead of a reletive path?

You cannot display images with absolute path.
Images have either
- relative path to the page or
- absolute path w.r.t the server document root

that is either it should be

<img src ='../images/show.gif'>

or
<img src ='http://localhost/images/show.gif'>

Why not?

your files are always in your server path

you can use $_SERVER[DOCUMENT_ROOT]

home/account/html/images is not likely to be the server docroot 🙂
