How to write in Flash object?

Dear all,

I would like to write php code in the interface made by Flash_MX in order to call the mysql database. Is it necessory to require Macromedia Flash Remoting Components in the server? Further, are there any websites to introduce the application between the Flash_MX and the php? Thanks for any of your help.

From what I remember Flash MX plugin can do POST's so it should be a doddle getting data from Flash - PHP.

The practical upshot is no. You don't need to buy any more Macromedia stuff to have Flash communicate with PHP.
