DELETE FROM phpbb_??

Hi

I am trying to create a script that will automaticly refresh a phpbb forum. However I dont know how to flash all the tables with just the extension. IE I would like any table that begins with phpbb_ to be flashed with no records.

My Guess on it is this (May help you)

DELETE FROM phpbb_*

Any idea's?

I doubt you can do it at all. I really doubt that any db server support such operations on many tables.

I have just one idea about this.
You can possibly extract all tables with such string in name from some kind of system-object-catalog table, store them somewhere and then take one of them each time...

Yep, I thought so. I'm going to do that now, however I want to keep this topic open just incase some figures out how to do it.
