how to print € with imagestring

Hi foks,

I tried to print a € with imagestring() but it didn't apear in the image when I tried to print a $ it printed a $ correctly.
If anyone can give me some advise how to print a € with Imagestring() I would be most gratefull. tnx Johnny

I'm thinking that character is not available in the font set. The imagestring() font set is somewhat primative. It is very handy for whipping something up real quick though.

I might recommend using a TTF font and using the TTF PHP/GD functions available.
