Any way to view mySQL compile options after install?

Does anyone know if there's a way to see the options mySQL was compiled with after it's installed, the way phpversion() allows you to do? I didn't write down the options that finally got mySQL working the way I want it to (which is very unlike me... it's probably in a text file somwhere), and would like to have a look at what they were.

Should be stored in your my.cnf file

I replaced my.cnf with one of the pre-configured files from the mysql share directory, though...

Found a solution:

Since I compiled on FreeBSD using the mysql port and hadn't run a "make clean", the configure options were in the config.log file in /usr/ports/databases/mysql40-server/work/mysql-4.0.14 / directory. the CFLAGS are also embedded in there, so a quick look at the Makefile told me what I had and hadn't compiled in.
